You are welcome.

Charles and I are partners on a 64 unit deal in NC.

Good guy, very hard worker, knowledgeable

Good luck,

Arn

Couldn't agree more! Love to hear it, congrats on the 64 unit deal, and wishing you both many more great partnerships and a long lasting fruitful relationship.

Hey  @Arn Cenedella thank you for the recommendation. I did reach out to @Charles Seaman and i'am currently attending his Saturday underwriting classes. They are so informative, and i have been learning a lot.

Highly recommend them to anyone trying to learn MF underwriting. They are free of charge for anyone interested.

Kind regards, Khal

Quote from @Ashley Gantt:

I was listening to Clubhouse and an investor mentioned that when she first started, her and another group of new multifamily investors would get together in a group and practice underwriting and analyzing deals. Basically, someone would underwrite a deal that they saw on say loop net and share with the group and then everyone would chime in and provide their input. I wanted to know if any other new or even seasoned multifamily investors would be interested in participating in a similar group on Facebook? I am more than happy to start it.

@Ashley Gantt hey Ashley was wondering if you managed to get the underwriting going, and was wondering if i can join to lear the process of underwriting. I'am currently lacking on that aspect of the MF side.

Thanks in advance!

@Charles Seaman is too modest to mention he provides an underwriting class every Saturday afternoon. For those looking to start their “own” group, maybe tune in a few times and see how Charles does it. Charles does the presentation but you could certainly form a group with “rotating” presenters every week.

Hey @Arn Cenedella how do i join the "underwriting" class, and is it still taking place?

Thanks in advance.

@Khal Al you can enter the word 'underwriting' into the search bar above to get started and again on youtube for podcasts and videos. It is not hard and is an essential skill all investors should have before buying any property. All the best!

@Bjorn Ahlblad Thank you for the response, and suggestion. I will do just that.

I'am from Canada, and wondering is it possible to join the upcoming multifamily bootcamp on September, or is it strictly for U.S based individuals?

Thanks in advance!

The instructors are US-based, so it definitely has a US focus. Some of the instruction is universally applicable (figuring out who you need on you team, best practices for doing due diligence, the fundamentals of underwriting, etc.), but things some of the regulations and tax information will likely not apply.

@Account Closed Thank you for the response! like you said RE is universally applicable in the sense of due diligence, underwriting, and making offers. I currently lack on all of those, so i can definitely benefit from the course.
