Hello BP community! This is my first post here, and I'm super excited to say that I'm working on closing my first SFR in the next month down in Alabama! Because I currently live abroad in Saudi Arabia, I have no personal residence back in the states, and just use a relatives address for domicile tax purposes. Because of this, every insurance company I've spoken to said that they will not offer me any umbrella policy without a primary US residence. I also have some agricultural land that I wanted to cover as well under this policy, so I don't want to just increase the individual liability on the one house. I've been denied coverage by Progressive, Liberty Mutual, ALFA, and an insurance broker at this point. I'm still shooting queries out to everyone I can think of, but I'm a little stuck. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance!
