We bought our 3 family in August 2016 in Union City using an FHA loan and we're LOVING IT! We rehabbed the 3rd floor and turned it from a $1300 a month rental to a $1800 a month rental. This area is absolutely on fire. I'm also an Real Estate Agent and can definitely help anyone else out there get into a great deal in the area. Reach out to me anytime!

@Gerold Koch Hi Gerold, yes we are still with Angelo and we're very happy with him. We've done 2 wholesale deals with him this year (one is still in process) and 1 very complicated REO purchase where we had to buy an LLC that had the deal in contract with the bank. Challenging stuff. He also has a title company that he works with in the same office that was awesome. We are finishing that flip now and are looking to put it on the market in the next few weeks. I see you're in NYC. My wife and I just moved from Brooklyn last August. We bought a 3 family in Union City. Are you looking to invest in NJ? If so, what kind of real estate are you looking to do?

Hi Stephen,

We have a customer who is closing on a house in Sarasota this month - and the sooner they can get their renovation down there done, the sooner they can sell us their house here in NJ. She is convinced that there are no good contractors in FL - please help us prove her wrong! Please message me and I will give you the scope of work details. Thank you!

In the quest to find an "investor-friendly" brokerage that allows you to truly make your own schedule, work when you want, etc. without the monthly fees and transaction fees, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better option.

Hi Teddy,

Check out this article:

I think the idea of real. is to kind of get out of the agent's way and make the brand "you". Hence, the ultra-generic name.

I think they're onto something...

Hi Kelli,

I just passed the NJ state exam and I'm looking at Real myself. It seems like a good setup and I really like that it's a forward-thinking, tech-oriented company. Seems perfect for investors (I also have my license in NY and I've spent some time in a few different brokerages that were pretty old school, so Real seems like it could be a nice change of pace). I also like that there are no fees. I think I'm going to give it a go. Surprised that there aren't more postings about this company on BP.

Thank you for the suggestions! We ended up working with Attorney Angelo Bagnara. He's been awesome so far.

Hi Guys. We just bought a 3 family in Hudson County, New Jersey and we've inherited 2 tenants. We are looking for an investor-friendly (timely, organized) real estate attorney to draw up new leases. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi BP community! I'm relatively new to the site but learning a ton and loving it! Quick question: can anyone recommend an "investor friendly" title company in NYC?  Thanks!
