I'm interested in investing in the Indianapolis area via turnkey. I'm looking for reviews on Pinnacle Invest from investors who have actually worked with them. I searched the forums and the internet, but haven't had much luck finding feedback (less than a handful of actual experiences). If anyone has any experience with them, please share. I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

I heard about www.memphisinvest.com on one of BP's podcasts and am wondering if anyone has tried them out and what their experience was like? Would you recommend them? What did they do for you?

They seem like a very helpful company for a beginner to get their foot in the door, what do you think?

I currently live in San Diego and although it may not be impossible to start out investing here, it is more difficult than a lot of places for various reasons. I have considered moving out of state for quite some time, I just haven't had any particular place in mind. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as where might be a really good place for a beginner to get into the business, with not as expensive housing but a good market? I have family potentially moving out to Virginia over the next year or two and I'm considering heading out that way with them. I am mostly interested in buy and hold multi family properties. Thank you.

@Sarah D. Thank you for sharing that with me, it's encouraging to hear. Congratulations on your 4 plex! I wish you two the best of luck. I do know that I have a bit of saving that I need to do before jumping in to anything, and I will be spending this waiting period learning as much as I can. Thanks!

@Sarah D. House hacking is where you live on the property and rent out the other units to tenants which helps pay off your mortgage for you right? If so, that is exactly what I want to do. I agree with you, we are definitely peaking here, I wish I had been looking into this stuff a while back. Have you attempted this at all in SD? What would you recommend for someone looking to get in it if SD is not a good place to so?

@Ken Teng Any suggestions as to where? Escondido, Temecula?

@Joe Sherman sorry I did not tag you properly in the comment above.

@Joe Sherman a duplex is exactly what I am interested in. Living in one unit and renting the other our to get started is what I would like to do, I just need help finding a good deal, which I just need to put the time in to do, but also with the financing. My wife and I do not have much money right now, our car engine blew up so our savings just went to a new car. I have to get going to work soon, but I will give you a call. Thank you.

I am new to investing in general, but have been doing a lot of research and am eager to get started in real estate. I live in San Diego. I am mostly interested in buy and hold rental properties and learning that business. Right now I am looking at little or no money down if I were to act soon. I wouldn't mind waiting a few years and saving up a 20% down payment. (I had originally filled this section out asking for a mentor, but then got a pop up explaining how they do not allow that). Any knowledge of getting started with little to no money. If anyone has any tips for the San Diego area, they would be much appreciated.
