It's getting extremely expensive for my mother out here in san jose,ca (bay area). She baught the home back in 2010 and is now considering to move out to southern california. How do we go about this to where she gets the fullest benefit and instead of selling her existing home, is she can rent it out?

Hi everyone,

This post is very significant in my life at the moment, my mom purchased a home in san jose ,ca back in 2010. the value here in the bay area has significantly grown in these past years, which I'm sure you all might know. I'm tired of seeing my mom struggle and I would like for her to pull money out and purchase a new home in southern California. I will be staying up here in san jose so will it benefit her to keep the home and rent it out? If so, which is the best way to handle this situation?
