Thanks man, I really appreciate the response. I've got a pretty solid team built but still missing a carpet layer.

I just purchased my first flip and must say that I couldn't have done it without the help from the resources on this site, thank you.

I'm currently seeking bids from a private facebook group in the city that I purchased the house for carpet and pad installation. In total, I'm looking at 80 yards of carpet with 5lb pad and 27-30 oz carpet.

What is the going rate for a project like this with me providing all the material???

Any thoughts, suggestions, and even stories would be greatly apprciated :)

I'm hesitant to purchase my first rental in St. Louis while still being in NYC. How has it been for you?

Where to start?

Born and raised in North County but relocated to New York City two years ago. I've spent the last year very intrigued with getting into real estate. I have family members that have been very successful in rentals and flips. It's a lifestyle that I feel cutout for and desire. My goal is to spend the next 10 months learning and preparing for a move back to St. Louis and go all in on a career in real estate.

I came across this site through YouTube and it appears to be an incredible resource.

I've got a lot to learn and excited to be apart of such a great group.
