Hi Jamie - At this event we went through the lease option.  I like that strategy because you really can eliminate risk when done correctly. Here is video with some strategies and there are many more videos on our channel that would help with some ideas.

We talk all the time about how to do things correctly and make money on your deals, but you need to know what NOT to do as well, if you really want to be successful.

If we do not learn from the past, we are doomed to repeat it!  In this lighthearted presentation, Justin Cooper from Pine Financial Group will walk you through MOST of the mistakes he made on his first flip.  He will point out all of the things that he would have (and has since) done differently.  Save the time and expense of the steep learning curve that comes with investing in real estate and piggyback on Justin’s experience.  Topics will range from having the right team in place, to having a scope of work (yes, you need one!).  You may not leave the presentation with a deal, but you will leave with enough information to make sure your next deal is a profitable one!

Justin is a Senior Loan Officer for Pine. He has been investing since 2007 and has completed several renovations on residential properties in Denver, Colorado.  He manages his own portfolio of rentals and is in the process of acquiring additional properties.  Born and raised in New York, Justin came to Colorado in 1996 to attend Colorado State University.   He started his career on the plumbing and heating supply side of the construction industry, working his way up from stocking warehouses to managing his own branch, before making the leap to full time investor and hard money lender in 2011.  Since then, Justin has expanded his rental portfolio, helped numerous investors purchase profitable properties and has spoken nationally on various real estate investing topics to groups upwards of 500 people.  Justin is very passionate about investing, and strives to help and teach people he meets on the benefits and know-how of real estate investments.
