It's great to get such a supportive welcome! Thank you Trexie, Angela, Steven, and Russell! Those meetups are a great idea. There's one coming up in August called "Start Me Up" with Bill Fell. Anyone know or experience any of these meetups with the REIA? I'm not sure if I should jump on one or continue learning. I'm eager to get into the market while being cautious of getting burned on a bad deal because I didn't do my due diligence. Russell how can I contact @GabrielG?

Hello BiggerPockets community.  My name is Kesh Baggan and I'm originally a New Yorker (grew up on Long Island, lived/work throughout the different boroughs).  Currently, my wife and I live in Maryland and we're looking to invest in the Baltimore County and Baltimore City areas, particularly multi-unit properties.  My occupation is clinical social work. I'm also an Officer in the US Navy and have prior enlisted service in the US Marine Corps. I am a humble, dedicated, and motivated student and really looking for guidance within a supportive community, so that I can take action. As I've been educating myself on real estate investing I came across BiggerPockets and started reading articles, forums, etc.  We're new to real estate investing and looking to learn from anyone with experience from novice investors to the best and brightest and highly seasoned.  I am goal and action oriented and hope to be a contributing member of BiggerPockets.  Paying it forward is a principle I live by and my intention is to reciprocate the help I receive in some way.  Moreover, I will make sure to pass along the mentorship, guidance, and advice I receive.  It's all about people helping people.  Look forward to connecting!  Thank you all and be well.
