@Ibrahim S...thanks for the words of encouragement:). Being a new mom gives me more courage to ask & affirm with conviction what I want. Therefore, I told my Supervisor that I may be resigning after the summer & he suggested that I can work from home 3-4 days and come in 2 days. I'm still weighing my options.

@Ann Bellamy...I'm looking at all my options & definitely, my husband will remain employed while we transition.

@James...Thank you & taking your words to heart.

@Kama...Yes, we can make it on his salary. However, have some back up savings, thinking to hold onto (security/cushion) or use majority for downpayment for another SFR investment? I'm also a part-time RE agent but once I resign from J.O.B will do RE full-time; also just started researching "Wholesaling". Lol, at "towing baby" because this is what I told my husband once we became pregnant. The sky is the limit & from the the little that I've done & achieved in RE, NO OTHER J.O.B can allow me/us the freedom to be their for our children.

Greetings BP family, finally writing my 1st post, whew!!

I returned to 9 to 5 this week after 3 months maternity leave (Wow, Really!!!!) . Well, it's time to Run, YES, I said, [b]"RUN"... I'm ready to dust myself off, put salt on my wounds & "swallow the bitter pill". I'm pressing forward into my greatness.

My husband & I purchased our 1st investment, 2units last year(CASH -accumulated from 2 buyer's transaction) & less than 30 days after our 1st home, 2 units (FHA -Downpayment was saved between my husband & self= 1yr on salary less than $90k. Note that we live in NYC-That's another post:). Family & friends claim I'm an economist/cheap/ you name it, once it has to do with saving/adding/multipying/investing...I'm labelled. BUT, that's OK because I know what I do, feel, and experience many people on this forum share similar PASSION/JOY:)

BP family, I'm VERY VERY HAPPY & Grateful to be part of this comradery. RE is GOOD & it does offer financial freedom & flexibility. Now, that I'm a mom, I truly YEARN spending quality time with my son & doing what I love not what society says is best (Look at our present economy) . We were all created for GREATNESS and if you know better... ALWAYS strive to do/be better!! I'm open to all suggestions and comments and look forward to sharing & receiving ideas.
