Hello I'm Ken, I am an engineer currently working in commercial and industrial construction. For years I have wanted to really get started investing in real estate. I bought my current residence as a foreclosure and have been slowly fixing it up with my wife for a couple of years now. One thing I am passionate about is fixing up and adding value to distressed properties.

I've been listening to the Bigger Pockets podcasts for about a year now and feel like it is time to get off the sidelines.

My experience in real estate so far consists of purchasing a primary residence. I purchased a foreclosed property and used a 203k loan to make most of the major repairs.

I also inherited a single family rental that I have been managing for a few years now so I have some familiarity with being a landlord (and the pros and cons that go along with that).

I am interested in building a portfolio of buy and hold properties. I am also interested in learning more about flipping. In both cases I enjoy fixing up properties and looking for ways to add value.
