This is all new to me as my gf has been doing this basically as a side gig. I’ve only done property purchases and rented them out or flipped them to date. The goal is to get things aligned and run properly. I will look into getting the property management license and she’s been working on her brokers license so we should be fine once those are achieved front what I have learned.

Thank you, Cody. My gf is an agent with Sotheby’s and she seems to think she was told she couldn’t host properties that she didn’t own. Maybe that’s the catch, if there is one. Currently we both host 4 properties and I only own one of them and about to purchase another so we figure we better be careful and do this right. 

I’m looking to find out if it’s legal to be a real estate agent and an AIRbnb host.
