Joel Owens, I thank you for the expressed concern, while I'm not completely without an income, I do everything I can to provide for my family. As a stranger, I find that your concern is refreshing.

David Wedemire I thank you for the Welcome, I will certainly do my best!

I wish the both of you the ultimate success and may 2012 prove to be most profitable.

Hello,

Fist off, I want to thank the organizers of this website, they have done a great job.

My name is Benjamin Coggins, I do however have a social name, my friends and relatives call me Kenny. I was raised in Georgia and currently reside north of Atlanta. I did leave for a little while, served 6 years in the Navy and got to spend a couple of years in Italy and then 2 years in the Philippines back when Mount Pinatubo erupted.

I'm married, have 3 boys and 1 daughter of my own. My wife has an unbelievable 6 daughters through a previous marriage in addition to our current daughter, and no boys. I am formally educated in the Computer Science field and worked many years as a Critical Power Specialist.

As a young man back in the early 80's while in college, I had read a motivating book on buying Real Estate with no money down. I had determined that one day I would do this. I continued to pursue my degree in Computer Science, working full time and attending college full time. I eventually joined the military, lured by their tuition assistance. The years passed, I landed some good jobs, got married, had kids, and life was good.

Well, last November I was informed by my employer at the time that he could no longer afford to pay my salary. So I began to make plans, I decided that now was the time to get involved in Real Estate. I'm backed in the corner, big obligations with so many mouths to feed, I really have no choice. As of January 1st I'm on my own. It's either sink or swim.

So yeah, I'm motivated and definitely will do what ever it takes to get this ball rolling. I've read some of the forums here and seems that Wholesaling is the way to start since there is such a small upfront cost involved. I do have some long term goals, but I've got to start somewhere! I'm encouraged by the people here and I'm thankful to have found this site.

So to all involved, keep up the good work and I look forward to networking and contributing where possible. I have lots to learn and this seems to be the place to get my education in Real Estate Investing.

Kenny
