Hi

I wish you guys the best on this.  I believe you will recover your money but it might take some time and hopefully the sting subsides.

Hi,

I wanted to find out if anyone has a rule of thumb when estimating on the full install of a house that needs an air conditioning system in the house.  The house was built in the early 1900s and has the old octopus heater type system.  I wanted to find out to get a rough estimate before I get it under contract.  Yes I  know I will get a professional's estimate but any rule or thumbs or good estimates will help with my negotiaions.

Thanks Jon and Tereal.  That is what I thought to. The agent did not know how long the water had been sitting in the basement.  Overall the house is in very reasonable shape and would require about $30k in fixes if it wan't for the basement flooding.  I am going to do some more research on this and cocur Jon, I can probably get it for a very good price but I need to know my numbers.  They are starting to test over here now for mold so it is not worth trying to game the system.

Hi,

I will be doing a walk through of a HUD home with a flooded basement. The basement flooded because the electricity was cut to the house during a storm. The basement has not flooded since then. I will be doing a walk through of the house and would like to get some input on what to pay attention to or potential costs I may encounter.

Thanks

Brandon,

That Webinar was perfect.  I am working on my commercial loan presentation and everything in it was spot-on.
