I am looking for a general contractor to oversee renovations in a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse.

Some of the renovations - plumbing, painting and replace carpet with laminate floors.

Once  completed, the townhouse is being rented.

This is a great organization to help you navigate the various contractors.

Today we attended a workshop on rehab and flipping houses.

This workshop was quite informative and it was geared for the new York market rather than just general information.

The most valuable information was knowing your numbers.   Making sure your numbers are 20% minimum profit on the deal.  Deciding a flip rehab, rental or buy and hold.

We recommend joining your local real estate investor organizations to get a full understanding of the industry for your area of interest.
