I have some money set aside to purchase a Rental property. I am also from Michigan ”bellevile” and was interested in the southeast area as well. I looked in Detroit and saw potential but the area seems too dangerous. My next areas are Westland and Wayne area. Are these areas suitable for investment property?

I see...my goals is buy and hold. I have set aside a big chunk of change for any major repairs. I want to add more rentals but I am.unsure of the equity route.
