@Brandon Turner are y'all eventually going to add a glossary section to this website and then divide the glossary out to terms needed to be known for specific types of real estate investing? Or a compilation of books to read for the different aspects of real estate investing say a section dedicated for books that pertain to buy-and-hold or flipping etc..?

@Rashad Dove Thanks for the welcoming. Do you ever travel down to Richmond?

I don't really have an answer because I am not investing just yet I'm still trying to build my fundamental education; but I plan on getting a multifamily unit and living in one part and renting out the other part. Could we perhaps connect and you tell me more about how you prepared yourself to take this on? like what books did you read? how specifically did you do it from the loan etc...? I hope to hear from you soon @Carmen Washington.

Hey Ryan would you mind sharing your compilation of definitions and terms with me? I'm a newbie and am trying to educate myself on the key information that is needed before I begin investing.

I'm really starting to like BP the more I visit. However, as a newbie, I have been reading over the the ultimate beginner's guide to real estate investing that BP offers and I have been doing some other readings on my own and I know at my stage, having a firm financial intelligence foundation is of most importance. So with this being said, what are some good places to start? I have already been reading books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, Rich Dad Guide to investing, CashFlow Quadrant, Real Estate is The Gold in Your Future, Rich Dad How To Buy Your First Investment Property, The Richest Man in Babylon, and Think and Grow Rich. So are there better books that I should be reading so that I can come into "contact" more with the direct conceptual terms of real estate investing (Buy-and-Hold for CASHFLOW)? Also do you know where I could possibly find a list or rather compilation of terms and concepts that are important to know for buy-and-hold real estate investors? I hope to hear from you all soon!
