Hi, I'm also here on TN visa. I am From Canada. I started looking for loans in Denver, the first city started working in. They had no problems working with my TN status. I'm not sure about California, but I'm going to need to find out soon as well, as I wish to buy a place in San Jose by the end of the year. I haven't tried myself, but TD and RBC advertise that they can use your Canadian credit history to issue mortgages to cross-border Canadians.
