Check out Airbnb and see who else is offering 30 day stays in the area.  Also proximity to military bases seems successful for others.  Lastly, some RE investors will reach out to corporate relocation companies and get bookings direct from there.

@Kelly Vandever other data to look at is the Level of those hospitals you mentioned. Typically there Level 1 (think greys anatomy; they can literally take any kind of medical need/trauma/emergency) with high specialized medical department,  Level 2 similar but less specialized departments, Level 3 are very very basic care, found in more rural areas.  

Level 1 & 2 hospitals create more demand and need for traveling medical professional. Hope that helps!

 Sorry - long term rental. Short term rental is like Airbnb (2-3 days) mid term rental is like Furnished Finders (2-3months) and long term is like a normal lease like 12 mo. 

Good research. I’m doing a similar thing, intrigued as you put it and getting information for my area. All I can think to add really is to cross reference with Airbnb information, and LTR. I’d like to try out a FF approach soon, but have the other options as plan B & C. 

Well first, there's really 3 hospitals and 1 children's hospital in the area. 

Northside Forsyth up in Cumming

Emory in Johns Creek

Wellstar North Fulton

We also have a CHOA (childrens hospital of Atlanta) off of Mansell

Beyond that, I would highlight the Greenway, the Alpharetta Loop, downtown Alpharetta and it's amenities along with the Avalon and Halcyon
