Reached out to a friend who happens to be an insurance agent/broker. He is going to work on this for me. I spent a good bit of time moving everything "under one roof" for insurance and now this. Grrrrr. I guess I should have asked if they had a limit but it never occurred to me. Hoping someone can learn from my mistake.

I am under contract for two new investment properties and contacted my insurance (Allstate) to add the new rentals. I was told that Allstate will only insure 4 rentals. What the heck? I have ALL my insurance there for everything plus an umbrella. Where do I go for the new ones? I hate insurance. ;)

What is the best way to payoff a mortgage. I am reading that you can either add extra each month or make one additional payment each year. I think I read that making one extra payment in a year is somehow better than extra money each month and causes the loan to be paid down faster. I currently own 4 properties. 2 are free and clear. 2 have mortgages that I would like to have paid off in 5 years. I am closing on 2 additional properties as we speak (which will also have loans). We are long term investors looking for passive income. Thanks.

Hey All. New to BiggerPockets forums but investor in LKN area since 2015. Looking to purchase more properties. I have a realtor/prop manager but interested in talking with like-minded people.
