I brought my first investment property in Cincinnati,OH . I had a meeting with a tenant on 11/04/20 they said they would pay me on the 5th never showed up and now my call won’t go through ( I think he blocked me) and the tenant is never home. Can I start the eviction process by giving him a eviction notice even though covid is going on ?

I’m purchasing my first investment property, it’s 3units I’ll live in one of the units. I’m getting nervous idk the process of dealing with the tenant legally switching them over from month to month lease with old owner to a year lease with me any information would be great thanks I’m advance!
