Hi friends,

I am looking to enter wholesaling. I am based in Southern California. I am open to wholesaling in other markets.

My experience  with real estate is in short term and long term rental.

Reasons I am interested in real estate: 1. I thoroughly enjoy searching for properties and doing market research. 2. I enjoy networking and negotiating. 3. I enjoy brokering deals. 4. Earning potential.

I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the direction of resources to help me get started. I.e. courses, search engines, lead generation strategies, etc.

I think Bigger Pockets has some type of course and I was also looking into Cody Sperber's courses as well.

Thanks for all your help!

Hello everyone,

I am closing on a multi unit property tomorrow in unincorporated Palm Springs. Being that I am do not in incorporated Palm Springs, I do not fall under the city's short term rental regulations. However, I would like to also list out the unit as a midterm rental. And also expand my MTR listings in the area.

What specific sites do does everyone use for midterm rentals in the high desert area? Furnish Finder, corporate housing sites, relocation companies, etc?

And what type of success have you had?

In addition, what do you do in the summer to keep your STR booked?

I will be moving to the area, and I would love to connect with any fellow investors and hosts.

I appreciate all of your insight and feedback!

Best,

Keith

From realtors in the area, and doing preliminary projections on airdna. I am not local, based on the west coast.

Hello All,

I am looking to buy a multifamily, live in one unit and rent out the other unit(s) as short term or midterm rentals. I have noticed some good opportunities in the Columbia area and it's surrounding markets such as Chapin, Irmo, Lexington, etc.

Does anyone have any experience with short term or midterm rentals in any of these markets? Or near by. From what I understand, Chapin seems to be up and coming.

Thank you!
