Post: Good programs for learning about investing in Mobile Home Parks?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which educational programs were worth the money when it comes to investing in mobile home parks? I have seen a few such as; Mobile Home Park Academy, Mobile Home Univesity, etc...

Are any of these better than others? I certainly am not going to pay $10,000+ like some of the other real estate mentorship programs I have seen out there. I just want to learn as much as possible so I can hit the ground running in 2017.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have a few others I would avoid but I don't have that list near me now. Message me for info.

I have fixed up two homes in the region. Getting tradesmen to do anything is a big challenge here. I replaced a roof and my first three quotes varied from $10k-$20k. I ended up finding a guy that did the job for $5k. I did that by going to a metal roofing supplier and asking them for a good local contractor. You can find good people but it is going to take a serious amount of effort. The standard three bids doesn't seem to cut it. Someone with more experience might feel differently this is just my opinion.

Thanks Shirley! Jonathan I would like to stay close to Asheville at first while I get my feet wet. Spartanburg and Greenville SC are options as I travel there often for work. Luke maybe we can help each other.

Hello,

I have been buying and selling for profit my primary residence for eight years. I have finally decided to start investing in income properties. I am mainly focusing on multi-family units to hold long term for cash-flow. My goal is to add $12,000.00 per year to my cash-flow. As I gain experience I might be interested in branching out into other money making avenues, but for the time being maximum cash-flow return on investment is key for my family. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated. I will be happy to pass along and leads I get that don't fall under my goals.

Very happy to be a part of this wonderful community, looking forward to getting ot know you all better as the years go on.
