I'll keep milking the system & stacking my money & enjoying this free rent..... got real information that the courts dont keep track of if I pay or not unless the landlord tells them...so I'll keep gaming the system & save this money up

@Keith Matthews sorry to hear you're going through this but, you have known what the rent amount was at least 30 days before it was due. Keith, it's not like this whole thing just got pushed on you all of the sudden. I addition to the 30 days leading up to when rent was due you have to of also missed all the notice deadlines delivered to you by the Landlord and the courts for it to go in front of a judge. There is a court involved now and if you thought your landlord was 'unfair' somehow for not letting you continue to be late, you will certainly realize that the courts won't be nearly as forgiving and do not play games... when they give you a time or a date... you need to abide by it, or the court will impose consequences, the end... that is how courts operate. In addition to all of the above, you keep waiting until the last minute to make right, why are you only appealing now at the last possible moment?

Expecting the landlord to pay for where you live just isn't going to pan out; you're an adult at what point is it okay for your landlord to pay for your living costs? Look everyone goes through rough times but the clear solution is: if you knew you weren't going to be able to pay for your living arrangement is for you to simply move out and find a more affordable living arrangement but you didn't do that. Instead you kept staying until the last possible minute and now are trying to appeal and are continuing to miss the deadlines of the handouts given. You should seek assistance but there won't be much anyone will be able to do now after the fact.

Thank you

In PA, appeals on an eviction judgment require the tenant to pay the full amount into the Prothonotary's office or claim you are below the poverty level.  And you must continue paying the rent ON TIME during the appeal process.

Long story short:  Pay the rent when it's due, or get evicted.

I just respectfully ask if you going to comment please read before you comment... clearly you didn't read the original post

Like I said she's team landlord...a day or 2 late aint going to be the end of the world

She answered your question. Paying late isn’t an option.

 @Patricia Steiner:

Clearly your "team landlord" which is cool I guess (sike 👎) but I asked what if I missed a payment because the remaining 2/3 of February rent is due 20 days after you file the appeal & my source of income don't arrive until 22 days so I was trying to ask what would happen if I paid 2 days late but I guess you was so caught up in being non objective & team landlord that it went over your head

I Have Filed An Appeal & Paided Bond Amount & I Wanted To Know What Is The Next Process? When Will I Be Notify Of A Court Date & If I Miss A Payment Or Late On A Payment What Will Happen? Will The Landlord Even Know If I Missed The Payment By A Day Or Two? Anyone With Any Helpful Information Please Let Me Know.... Also Im In Carlise Pennsylvania
