As a mentor myself just check to see what you are getting. We all have areas that we do discounts in and I am no different in that regard. Do your homework and do the work that is required and you should be fine...Keith

Amem Rob
I can't agree more with you here. I go above and beyond the normal mentoring with a boots on the ground if they are within 300 miles of me for the same cost as the mentoring. It is a wash once to put time and hotel, food and gas in the mix but I love what I do and the right client makes it worth my time and cost. I just did one in fresno and he is on fire with three offers in place...Keith

Hi All
It is tough to be a mentor on this site I see..lol I have been teaching since 2011 and love what I do. I do deals every month and I teach my students what they want to learn. My students have their point of view just like everyone else so you have to let them vent and learn from that... Step forward or turn right or left..Let it go, because there is an old saying that you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time... This is just my view !!!!

Post: Who Wants To Be A Mentor?

I can see both sides of the story here. As a mentor I work hard to make sure that I am giving the student what works because I am using it on a regular basis. With that said, the time that is put into a student, the cost of driving to them and working with them on a weekend when one could be working a real estate deal and making more than what the student paid is in itself a whole another story. On the other side a new person is afraid to spend money and not know what he or she will get in return. I would advise anyone to check the person out on facebook and well as any other areas to see what they have done and who they did it with. If they don't do deal on a regular basis then don't pay for someone the is a teacher of something they have never done. I only take a few students each year because I want to do deals at the same time and when I have more the seven I feel that all my time is there and not in the market I am training on. What I would tell anyone looking for a mentor is to do your homework just like buying a property.. Then ask tons of questions and do the work once you find a good one..It will make all the difference in the world...

Ok we can get this done if we can get the rest of the info to know what to ask for. Need to know the number of people that we guess will come or that the hotel center can hold. Need to know what type of discount we are looking for and the best time to hold it. I am thinking april to may for the best prices? Trust me we can find it and get this going if we can figure out what state will work out best (tx, az. nm, or what).
