Are there any other newbies who would like to setup a meetup to bounce ideas off of each other and help build our local RE network together? Just trying to start a new group or join one that already exists.

I was told I could contact title companies in my area and obtain absentee owner lists, among other lists, simply by asking. I've tried and no go...is this just in my area or are some title companies just not helpful?

It's difficult to locate a real estate attorney in the Kansas City area. Do I ask if they specialize in my certain field? What do I look for when it comes to my niche (wholesaling) when I look for a real estate attorney?
