I currently have 3 rental houses. I am getting a home equity loan and my banker was encouraging me to pay off the houses I already own. I was thinking that sounded smart because my cash flow would go way up. At the same time I know I want to expand and build my rental portfolio. My other option is to use the home equity to buy other rentals in “cash” I still consider myself new to the investing game and would like input on which way to go and why it would be most beneficial.

Does anyone pay to use HUDforclosed.com to find local foreclosures?

@Todd Dexheimer I am closing on my second rental next week. I just got an LLC and next to open my business account. Do you pay your mortgage through your business account? I need to learn the ins and outs of this account....do you know any resources where I can learn on this topic?

Yes I just found a foreclosure and got a private lender so I'm hoping to do my first BRRRR here in Decatur. Any advice is appreciated!

I’m closing on my second rental house this month and after using most of my cash on hand I want to continue building my portfolio with buy and hold properties but how do I manage to finance the next without down payment cash?
