Hello BP community. I've been listening to podcasts for about 6 months, reading business books and books on wealth for about a year, and I'm finally to the frustrated point that I need to do something to get started but I'm not sure to do what or where.

Bigger Pockets was mentioned in a real estate class I attended. So far, I have not been active, haven't gotten focused yet on a strategy or a location, so I'm making the decision to be active and reach out.

Currently residing in Dubai has me interested in investments nearby because I'm familiar with the city; Richmond, VA because it's my hometown and Tampa, FL because I will be moving there sometime in the next 10 years.

I'm 33 and have now resigned as a teacher because I was unhappy having my time and lifestyle dictated by a school system, so I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make a change.

I look forward to being active on the community and learning more about Bigger Pockets and experienced people with a wealth of knowledge.

You most definitely can use bank money to finance in Dubai. You don't need to buy with all cash.
