Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $35,000
Cash invested: $15,000

Bought a triplex at the end of 2020, fixed it up and got three renters in. Been doing superb ever since 👍

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I am a realtor in California and I studied what this investment can do for my wealth. I took the leap of faith and haven’t looked back ever since.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My business partner and fiancé found the opportunity on Zillow and found the lender and realtor to work with and made it happen.

How did you finance this deal?

Money saved up from working and a hard money loan.

How did you add value to the deal?

I financed the deposit for the home as well as sent money for additional repairs.

What was the outcome?

Fixed up the property and have three units rented out.

I recently had a client who put in offers every weekend for a month and just got terribly burned out and ended up quitting.  As a noob in the business I am wondering what all the pros out there would do to try and prevent this from happening.
