I am a REALTOR in the Poconos. I work with investors. Message me if anyone still needs help here.

Quote from @Jimmy Gonzalez:

I’m looking to buy a rental property in the Poconos area. I am researching the areas but I can’t find any information on which towns allow short term rentals. Does anybody have a list or know of a website? Thanks.

I am a Realtor here in the Poconos and work mainly with Investors looking for STR. If you still need help. Let me know!

I am currently in my 2 year waiting period before I can take out a conventional loan to buy my first rental property. October 2020 is go time! In the meantime I am rebuilding my credit and saving my pennies to have a down payment ready to go. Is there a way to get a hard money loan that lasts two years? I am a regular listener on biggerpockets and my ears always perk up when I hear people going from 0 to 100. As far as I can tell or have seen to date, hard money loans seem to average 6 months to 1 year. Is it possible to get one for two years? If not, what would be my other options to get started sooner? TIA!!
Hi! My name is Katie and I am from Lehigh Valley, Pa area. I have been interested in the idea of real estate investing for years it is one of the most fascinating concepts to me and I'm finally at a point where I am ready to learn and lay out a detailed plan on how/where to start. Everyone has a story to tell and mine can be titled "Going from bankruptcy to massive passive income!" How does that sound?! Sounds good to me. That's a big enough word into my situation to get started... so, who can help point me in the right direction? I'm going through a chapter 7 bankruptcy from my divorce last year. I expect to have it filed in the next few months. Currently I work 35 hour desk job with good benefits so it makes my two hour commute (daily) worth it... for the most part. Where should I begin? What are my options? Chap. 7 means I can't buy a home for two years. So I have a two year preparation span and I am ready!
YouTube! I started my search there for how to get started in real estate investing. Brandon was one of the first ones I started watching and he was easy to follow and it's been great learning during my two hour daily commute for my current position.
