Quote from @Lisa Graesser:

I have a golf cart at each of my rental homes in a golf cart community.  The cart is included with the rental cost. The cart stays in the garage so its included whether someone wants to use it or not. I manage remotely so giving the option to rent it separately is not an option. I know you are  more interested in having the "cart" available if wanting to rent it separately. So this situation is not the same. I do have insurance for each cart that covers liability for the guests use of the cart. I also have a waiver that the guests have to agree to when making the reservation that is included with my rental agreement. Our carts are for use on multi modal paths, not street legal. Having a cart included is not unusual in the community my rentals are located in. Those with the cart can charge a higher nightly rate, but I haven't put in the time to really study what those without the cart charge and compare their occupancy rate. I know guests do look for homes with the cart included if they want the use if the cart, so I would say my rentals would be occupied prior to those that do not offer them. Those that do not offer the carts with their rentals are mostly concerned with the liability issues.

How much extra income can you earn with golf cart? It is quite a big investment ($11K at least for a  seater electric) so I need to know if it is worth it. Golf carts are very popular in my area (Destin).

It is extremely hard this year. With no work visas issued, that reduces the workforce by about 2,000 people, and we have a record numbers of visitors. Cleaning companies are overwhelmed and even many independents have become unreliable as they are overworked. You already mentioned my recommendations and the few independents I know are eaither quitting or not taking on new cabins.

Keep checking. There are some very good Facebook groups you can join and ask as well.

Yes "becoming unreliable" is exactly what is happening with my independent cleaners. Their crews kept making mistakes lately; once they came to clean only 15 mins before check-in time as they were so busy.

Do you have the names of those FB groups?

Thank you.

I know few people that do it; but what exactly are you looking for and I can let you know.

Thank you for your response. My cabin is for short-term rentals and it is almost always booked. It has 4 beds and 3 baths. I am looking for someone who not just cleans but also provides or partners with handyman services. As I am out of state I need someone who can come with short notice should any issue arises.

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a good, reliable cleaner for my vacation rental cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. I already tried MCM, Moonshine, and Diamond Touch but none are accepting new clients. I am remote so I really need someone who I can rely on. If you know any good ones, please let me know.

Thanks a lot,

Kate

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a good, reliable cleaner for my vacation rental cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. I tried MCM, Moonshine, and Diamond Touch but none are available. It seems quite hard to find a good cleaner these days. I am remote so I really need someone who I can rely on. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a ton!

Post: How to set up my existing Vacation Rental in Gatlinburg as LLC?

Hi All,

I have a rental cabin in Gatlinburg which has been up and running for almost a year. I already have a business license, but it is tied to my name as an individual. I want to set up an LLC in Tennessee and put this property under it. I am not sure how to "link" the property with the LLC. Have any of you, VR owners, done this? Can you please shed some lights on this topic?

Thanks a lot,

Kate
