@Remington Lyman thanks for the info.  I'll be there next week, if you have any recommendations on people to meet please let me know.

@Zachary Elliott Appreciate the input.  I've been there quite a bit actually.  Do a lot of projects for DHL there but haven't actually "looked" at that market. I'll PM you.  Open to the columbus-cincinatti area.

@Dave Poeppelmeier Thanks for the advice.  Yes of course will definitely have everything ready.

@Brandon Goldsmith Makes sense.  I'll be reaching out to brokers.  Any referrals would be appreciated.

@Brandon Sturgill Thanks for the detailed response.  The C Class properties are more what I am looking for.  Turnaround 3-5 years and work isn't what I'm worried about since I'm looking for a value add play.  I'll PM you and maybe we can connect next week.

How are you planning to use current cap rate knowledge to select a market?

I'm not planning on using it to select a market in particular, but to value properties and see if potential properties are over or accurately valued in their asking price.

@Russell Brazil Thanks I'll look at this right now.

@Dooreuhn Cee Thanks for asking.  Unfortunately the seller backed out and decided they aren't moving anymore.  So not yet.  Still looking at multi families in that area.

Hi,

I'm currently looking to buy properties out of state and was hoping to figure out cap rates for markets without having to call a broker every time I'm researching an area.  Is there a website or company that offers something with this information?  Or is there a way to find this out without calling brokers every time looking at a new market?  Any information or advice would be very helpful.

Best,

Karim
