Hi Everyone,

I posted about two months ago asking for advice on areas to invest in as my husband and I have been able to save up and are ready to purchase our first rental. After weeks of research, I think we've finally agreed that we'd like to start in Ohio. We set up a 90 day goal. So I am hoping to connect with some people who can give us advice, maybe build a team with experienced realtors, lenders, property managers, contractors. Anything would be appreciated!!

Thank you,

Karen

$50k could be enough but is that all your savings? Reason I mention it is for diversification. Do you want to put all your eggs in one basket into one asset?

Not all our savings, just what we've saved up so far for investing.

Hi All!

My husband an I have about 50k saved up and are ready to finally take the first step in investing in real estate. We live in Los Angeles where market is so high. So we're looking to possibly invest out of state. I'm interested in multifamily/multi unit property.  We have family in Missouri, Hawaii, and San Juan PR who could assist with property managing. Not sure what the market is like in either areas. Is 50k even enough to invest?  Any advice would be appreciated!
