My husband and I have formed an LLC for our buy and hold real estate business. We currently have 3 rental properties and hope to grow. Which tax structure would be better for us, a partnership or an S-corp? Thanks!

Thanks to all, very helpful. It seems agreed that less is more concerning diverging information. And I was not aware of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This will all be very helpful now and in the future.

We have received seven applications for a new rental house we bought. Three of them seem equally strong on paper but one family stands out to us. How do we decline the other applicants without getting into any legal trouble?
