Hello Bigger Pockets!

My name is Drew and I am incredibly glad that I found this site! I am a military officer looking for alternative work options and have been curious about the real estate world for quite some time. I've always loved real estate, even as a kid helping my dad (also military) look for homes as we moved from place to place. The problem i had initially was where to start!?!?! So i began my journey by reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and Cash Flow Quadrant to try and get a grasp as to my path forward. I've since started researching properties in my local area and read up the beginner guide here on bigger pockets. I'm currently reading through Thomas Lucier's Pre Forclosure investor kit book, to get a grasp on some theories and concepts. I'm set to PCS (move) to a new location in about a year, so my goal is to become as knowledgable as possible so that I can hit the ground running when i get to my next base.

So, I will be posting many... many questions over the next several month. I appreciate all of your inputs and advice and look forward to learning all that I can!

-Drew
