@Alesha Irvin  Okay so I’m not the only one wondering how I could possibly make this work. The duplex options I saw were too high. So I’m thinking about housing a few flight attendants instead. (My day job...they are always looking for a place) LOL Thank You for trying to help!

@Nathaniel Walker Alright that’s a good tip I hadn’t thought of making sure the evaluation is more recent. Had no idea it even mattered. Thank You

@Antonio Cucciniello Nice...I came to Texas from Pa. Makes sense I will make sure things are air tight. I’ll just have to keep the purchase price with the taxes at a number I’m comfortable with. Thank You

Hello everyone I’m looking to purchase a single family home that I can house hack this year. I am new to Texas and the high property taxes. Should I be worried about the taxes and can I still be lucrative with them? Also what are some good areas that I should look in? (Doesn’t need to be in Dallas) Budget wise I am looking at 215k max. I would love a 3 bedroom 2 bath. I want to be able to carry the whole mortgage on my own to be safe.

Any advice or experience is welcome!

@jerryllnoorden so your free leads are generated from a well built seo website. Do you suggest any particular service? I just started lead generation with Facebook ads. Cold calling has been rough. I don’t want to give up.
