Thanks Mike, I am aware of the down payment. I am working with a lender that will do less than the 20%. I am wanting to roll it into a VA loan after construction is complete. It is just taking forever to find anything already completed that interests us. We will keep looking as we scope out new construction.

I am looking to build a 3 or 4 unit property in Weber County/Ogden area as a first home. Has anyone built something similar in the area recently? Trying to come up with guesstimates on what I'm looking at with labor and possible material costs psf for simple and basic designs. Any info helps. Thanks
