@Nicholas Gessner I want a mixture of both but more on the hands on side. I've been contemplating whether to go with a traditional brokerage due to fees or not.

@Casey Crowe thank you. Yes, I plan to make more soon.

Hi, I am a 25 year old and have a good amount of money in my savings account and I want to open an IRA account (Roth or Self Directed) so I can invest in mutual funds and stocks etc. Im looking for a good broker and any advice you all may have. Thanks, in advance.

@Luke Trovinger thank you.

Hi,

I am a 25year old that is a full time employee and currently have a multi-family property as a primary residence. I plan to invest more in real estate as well. With that being said, I have a good amount of money in my savings account and I want to open an IRA account (Roth or Self Directed) so I can invest in mutual funds and stocks etc. Im looking for a good broker in Columbia or in SC and any advice you all may have. Thanks, in advance.

Hi,

What are the best ways to find off market deals? I'm new to investing and use Zillow to find multifamily properties but I know there are others ways to find deals. I'm not sure where to start outside of Facebook and zillow.

@Chris Davidson it was good. The leak is coming from the top unit's bathroom tub. He said it's an easy fix so everything is good there. I just need to update the units to increase rent and I should be to go. The roof is under warranty and they will be back out to inspect and fix. Thanks for asking

@Bobby Tindal Thank you ! I will PM for more details. I'm looking to go back out there today

Hi,

I'm looking into investing in a multifamily in orangeburg near the universities. Priced at 197,000. It is a huge house. I've discovered ceiling stains and some tenants informed me of small ceiling leaks from the bottom unit. Most of the ceilings in the units have ceiling stains . It's being sold as is and I am purchasing with a fha loan. This will be my first investment property. Is it worth it or should I walk away. Closing is next week and contractor is coming out tomorrow for repair estimate.

Thanks !

@Kadejah Johnson Termute damage is under the house. Not in the attic.
