I’ve heard of people having great success with buying these types of leads, but I’m sure it’s still a hit or miss, costly one at that. I would imagine you’d be getting wholesaler’s leads as well in those lists because when I started out, one of the first things I did was reach out to all the top searches for “sell my home for cash” sites in my city.

I’ve gotten to the point where I have a digital scan of my signature and I use a free PDF editor site to sign my contracts digitally. I’ve even walked sellers over the phone on how digitally sign a document. You can also use a phone app called CamScanner that does a pretty good job of using your phone’s camera to take a picture of a document and it converts it into a scanned PDF.

Skip trace is your best bet George. Most of your most accurate sites charge a fee, but there are a few you could pay just by the search.

Happy Holidays BP community! My name is Jonathan McGee from Memphis, TN and I’m addicted to real estate! I’m sure many of you have heard about the phenomenal market here in my hometown! I started out wholesaling here a little over a year ago behind the scenes. I come from working in the corporate world as an IT professional and web designer. I was brought in from a good friend of mine to help design their website, setup apps, MailChimp and etc. From there, I soaked up quite a bit of information on how real estate investing works so I took that knowledge and ran with it at full speed! From there, I’ve expanded my experience. I mentored under a family attorney who is also an investor and learned the processes of finding pre-foreclosures, pre-tax sales, how to offer short sales, finding home owners who’ve lost their home at tax sales and how to get it redeemed. Now I’ve even got my first 50/50 fix and flip in the works! I stepped away from my corporate job in the beginning to dedicate myself to real estate investing and while it was a rough ride at first, it is has definitely paid off ten fold! The only thing I wish is that I would’ve got into real estate sooner! I’ve met several good people along the way both locally and out of state. I believe honesty and transparency go a long way in this industry. Being up front and truthful has gotten me in the door with some exceptional people in the industry and have created unbreakable bonds! I don’t believe I’ve experienced such an adrenaline rush from any other industry I’ve worked in quite like real estate! If you are ever in town or are looking to speak with a native Memphian about the market, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I enjoy speaking with new people about real estate! It is like a never ending conversation! I look forward to meeting new investors, learning more and helping others along the way! Merry Christmas BP and let’s ring in 2018 with a BLAST! Thanks, Jonathan W. McGee
