That may be an option. We're trying to find a house for ourselves as well, but I think if we could get through a couple of flips we'd be able to do more as far as our own residence.

Thank you so much for the response. The first step is very scary, but I've been studying into everything and trying to prepare mentally for anything that could come our way.

Hi everyone,

My fiancee and I are wanting to get into investing, and have found some worthwhile properties, but I'm not sure of the best strategy to finance our first deal. We've been contacted via email by fake "private lenders" but when they didn't ask any questions on the deals and we started asking questions as to why they stop talking altogether. I've set a goal to do at least one real estate deal this year and would really love some insight.
