Just seeing if there's any suggestions or things I should know before buying my first property. I'm about 90 days out from my lease expiring and looking to buy my first home with a VA loan.

I'm planning on buying a house in the surrounding areas of Houston using my VA loan. This will be my first property. Just wanted any tips or things that I should be aware of from people who have experience using this type of loan.

I’m looking to move back to NYC after my military service is done this June, and I wanted to know some pros and cons of investing in a condo.

The property I was looking at is in Katy, TX. My mother lives over there. In June I will be moving back to NYC to go to school after my service is done in the military. So my plan was to get the property for my mom to occupy since she is currently a renter.

I'm trying to buy my first property but have no money to put down. I was considering using my VA loan but the rules for the VA loan states that the property must be used as my primary residence. So I wanted to know which route I should take? I've looked into seller financing and also the 80/20 loan.
