Post: Advice on Long distance flips

Hi everyone.

Does anyone have any advice on a long distance deal. Randomly, I've found a good lead, that on the face things, looks like it might have milage, but I don't know the area, and and a few States away. Is this a "Walk away" job, or is there a way to properly analyze this, and make it work?

Any help or advice gratefully received.

Thank you,

J

Hi BP world.

I'm and English Expat living in Chicago, and looking for BRRRR properties in the midwest. I'm interested in flipping too, but I've always preferred the long term hold strategy to building equity, and ultimately retirement wealth. I still have a day job, I'm a real estate broker and have been for 23 years, but currently specialize in Glass boxes in the skye in Downtown Chicago.

I have one deal completed with seller financing that is now performing, and am closing on another with private money this coming Friday. Looking forward to really ramping up, but not sure how to scale quickly. Anyways, that's me. Hope to meet with you, network with you,  share ideas and strategies. If you wanna know, please feel to ask. I'm pretty excited to have found this community.

Hi Everyone,

I'm closing on my 2nd BRRRR deal this coming Friday. The first is rented and performing, and was actually a seller financed deal. This deal we are closing with private money, rehabbing with a line of credit, and then will rent and refinance. My question relates to ramping up. How can I find more deals, and do more than one at time.... at this rate I'll be in my grave before I hit my goal of initial financial freedom..... My struggle is two-fold.... 1, finding deals in volume, and 2, my private money lender only has pockets that are so deep, and my lines of credit are small.... Would love any advice people care to share.

Thank you,
