@Joe Villeneuve if you start by funding from a job, where else would you get the money. What strategy would you use to start? How much to start with? I have also never seen those sequence of numbers before. Sorry for all the questions!

@Eric James trying to break that ground to get into real estate seems to be tough to say the least. Is there a better way than just funding a down payment? Or would say partner up with someone, private lender?

If you were to be a new investor starting today where would you start out? I.e. house hacking, wholesaling, Airbnb, BRRR, etc. Assume you are where you were financially when you first started. Just curious and interested to see what you guys have to say!

Really want to start real estate but I don’t have the overhead. Ive tried wholesaling but not sure if that’s it… especially in Colorado. I would love any tips or start out stories! Anyone willing to guide and help me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am starting to educate myself in real estate investing and the biggest issue that I have is that I really don’t have any money to start. I’m young and beginning my professional career but also have a passion for real estate investing and cash flow. What’s the best place to start and/or find funding? I know hard money/soft money lending are options but not sure where to find those either. Thank you!

P.s. I’ve tried wholesaling but not a huge fan. If it is the best option I’ll continue to pursue it though..

@Mike B. I’m taken back by the flak wholesalers get and which I understand. But from my early point of view is that there are different routes, some harder than others, and some wholesalers who are genuinely in the market to help people professionally. Utilizing all people incorporated in real estate. As for me I wish to be as well informed as possible but I am still expecting to make mistakes along the way, like all beginners. I’m very happy I made this topic because now I can see what to avoid and what to focus on.

What would you say is the best way for a wholesaler to approach you when offering a property?

Thanks again for all your input.
