Curious of same question 5 years later.  Any investor friendly agents/brokers in central Florida / Daytona?

Experience with out of state investors is preferred.

Thanks for all the helpful comments here.

I've identified a 4 unit multifamily property in Columbus, OH that checks all the boxes. Been spending the past 48 hours putting an offer together and kicking the tires on my model assumptions - the returns look great, especially under a STR strategy but this property could be a flip or buy/hold - lots of optionality. I'm looking for a partner on this one - please reach out for more information if interested.

Check out Columbus, Ohio which is a top five appreciating city in the US. It provides a great hybrid mix of cash flow and appreciation. There are plenty of multi family opportunities whether on or off market, and this is where I will be house hacking next year.

Very interesting.  Are you a realtor in the Columbus market?  I'd be interested in taking a look at some properties.  Appreciation & cash flow mix sounds great.  I'll shoot you a message.

@Justin Alarcon I've had recent success in Canton, Oh purchasing 2 duplexes and 2 triplexes there this year. Low cost of entry and cash flow well. Not appreciation plays. I buy elsewhere for that.

What areas of Canton are you in?

Canton has some good opportunities.  You really have to know the area though because .5 miles apart could mean the difference from a C neighborhood to a war zone.

Two duplexes are well north of 12th St (border of good/not so good), one of them in Perry schools. Two triplexes in Louisville.

Good stuff - thanks guys.

Hi Justin. I live in NY but started investing in TN this year. Message me with any specific questions or thoughts.

Hi All,

I'm currently looking for the right multifamily investment property and I figured I would throw a post out there and get some advice from investors that have had recent success.  I'm located in the northeast (NJ) but I have been looking at properties in other states.  What geographical markets have investors had recent success with 2-4 unit multifamily investments? Depending on the building, I may choose to go the route of a Short term rental strategy and use specialized property manager for that.

Additionally, wondering if any brokers or potential partners are interested in working together.  I have a decent amount of money to invest on my own but I am a big believer in a mutually beneficial partnership.  My background is in corporate investment banking.  Lets connect!
