Hello Biggerpockets Forums,

My name is Justin, and I have been looking to start out investing in real estate for about 3 months I already have a real estate agent I am also qualified with a lender to purchase a house. With all that being said I need to connect with an investor to make sure I take the appropriate steps during my journey to becoming an invester.

Thank you all,

Justin L

Hello all,

I am still new to this but have about 3-4 months of reading books (Rich Dad Poor Dad, 10 Commandments for real estate investors) listening to the BP podcast, and been looking around the Maryland market, so with that said, anyone have any advice for a good private money lender or hard money lender in the Southern Maryland Area.

Thank you much

Justin

Hello everyone,

I'm Justin and I'm a future investor based out of Hughesville, Md. Trying to gain as much information from books, podcasts, and this great forum before I start my initial investment. Does anyone have any experience around the Hughesville area with buy and hold rentals and flips?

Thank you
Justin

@Joe Funari @Aj Parikh @Chris Davidson Okay this is all great advice I appreciate it all, I’ve been listening to the podcasts like crazy and started “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. I will have to look into the meetup.com.

@Joe Funari Ok thank you, that all makes sense, how would you recommend finding a REI group/club with the virus going around at the moment, because that has been my biggest hurdle.

Thank you,

Justin

Hello all,

I am new to Bigger Pockets and am looking to start my journey for buying, renting, and maybe flipping houses, so what would be the best advice that can be given, I have already been listening to the podcast.

Thank you,

Justin
