Hey everyone, my name is Justice! I am a Property Manager for a company called The Champion Companies located in the Columbus, OH area(s).

To all real estate agents in the area, we wanted to share that for any client that you refer to one of our properties, we will give you a $125-$250 visa gift card! $125 if your client signs a 6-11 month lease, and $250 if they sign a 12-14 month lease. This is the perfect option for those clients that reach out and are looking to purchase a home, but take their sweet time when making their final decision.

I currently work at Berkley House, located in Upper Arlington, OH right off of the Scioto River. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have attached additional information about The Champion Companies below.

The Champion Companies’ expertise is in buying, renovating, developing and repositioning multifamily properties. Champion’s current portfolio of nearly 5,000 units and over $1 billion in real estate is a result of the company’s strategy and execution, with over $3 billion and 20,000 units of multifamily transactions since 2010. Champion works with owners in unique situations where fast execution and certainty of closing are of utmost importance. The company’s equity is internal and placed at Champion’s discretion with no restrictions from outside parties. Champion has also executed transactions with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, life insurance companies and numerous other lenders.

@Kar Sun I totally understand where you are coming from but as a property manager now for luxury apartments, a $400 hike is pretty extreme. I would try to negotiate with him on the increase personally. Although it may seem worth it to have more money this year, it may be worth it more to not have a vacancy as well as maintain a great relationship so he leaves your property the way he received it.

Also, have you thought about structuring your leases differently? A minor example: let's say you have a SFH with a garage that you want $1400 out of. You could state that the rental is $1300, and the garage is a rentable item for $100 per month. Sometimes this helps from my experience.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Hey everyone!

Just relocated to Columbus, OH and am looking to grow my networking! I found a few postings from a few years ago regarding referrals in this area on BP and thought I would post another.

My primary focus is in search of FREE Real Estate groups (COREE charges and I also work during their exact meeting times) and have already joined “The CREAM” Facebook Group. As well as in search of Realtors that know the market and invest themselves in this area.

Please comment if you have any suggestions, referrals, or you, yourself would want to chat about all things Real Estate related.

@Ken P. Any idea when tickets are on sale?

Hello Vivian, thank you for this information!

Hello, am I able to sign up if I am unable to attend the live sessions? I unfortunately work on Tuesdays until 8:30 pm, but would be very interested in joining if I am able to access the recordings, materials, lessons, etc. on my own time. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Justice Short
