It makes no sense for the seller to refuse repairs. The FHA appraisal stays with the condo for 6 months, so it will be there for the next FHA buyer who comes along.

Thank you, Matthew! Just sent you a PM.

New here :). I am currently a realtor in Phoenix area and am moving/getting my license in Western PA this year. (I will be keeping both licenses active) We will be rehabbing homes and buying multi-family homes for rentals. I will be getting my license for that purpose but also to be able to work in residential sales. I know that the market there is totally different from Phoenix, but we are hoping to "semi-retire" and eventually live on passive income. Husband had GC license in another state, so he will be doing as much of the repairs/remodeling as possible. His father is currently doing the same.

I currently work under a flat-fee brokerage and love it! I pay a minimal amount of every commission, no matter how big the sale. Not sure if there are any brokerages like it in the area. I will be living in Indiana County and can work the larger towns around there (Altoona, Indiana, etc) May possibly buy some rentals in State College and Pittsburgh as well.

Anyone have any brokerage information to share?
