@Jason Boughton Hello, are you still in Yuma?

Looking to connect with people who are there. Thanks, Julie

Well at least I got a good laugh!!! Thanks for the input.

We are probably moving to the Yuma area in the next couple months and I was wondering if there is a good way to figure out if there is a viable market for Short Term Rentals? There are some in the area but is there a way to find out how well they do? We are looking at different ways to house hack and looking at properties with that in mind... Thanks for your help!

@Devin James I commend you on your staying out of debt so far! That really puts you ahead in life! Personally I think you should talk to your girlfriend. You need to be a united team to have a great marriage and it needs to especially cover finances! We have been married almost 27 years and believe money can cause a lot of stress in a marriage! Personally I would want the security of the well planned house hack investment rather than an expensive ring but I am a practical person. Maybe really simple rings for the time being with a goal of 'we work on this together and whatever profit we make at such a time or such and such a deal we go buy you a REALLY special ring set....' Get her excited about the future benefits.... Just my two cents. God bless! 😁

@Nate Morris Hello, we are looking to move there for work. I am trying to figure out how to house hack legally. Can you point me in the direction of the laws concerning air bnb if you live in the house, or long term rentals in your home, Ohana's etc? Trying to read through the law update you posted but it seems to be talking about non owner occupied situations...

Thank you, Julie

@Mary Wirth I am having trouble finding the exact laws for the Big island. My husband works for the government and we are wanting to move there. Trying to get a feel for ways to legally house hack. I know Hilo is less expensive but I have some health issues that would make living in the drier area much better...

Can you point me to the current laws for LTR/STR, Ohana's etc. Thank you very much!
