I do have some experience in RE I own my first house in Philadelphia bought it 2019, Lived there for 6 months then rent out, making about $800 cash flow. But I do understand this is different markets.

What is the prices for Townhouses? From my research they pretty same with lets say Cape Codes, high be 40-70k less, but if you cover it in mortgage HOA ($300-500) eat it, idk might be taxes less for Townhouses?

So yeah mortgage payment for Cape code $475k about $2700 plus you responsible for Outside of the property.
Townhouse let say $420k almost same mortgage payment. Still confusing.... :)

Hi everyone! Me and my girlfriend decide to buy home to start with small. We need a good location like Clifton area bc she works in port Chester NY 40 away. I working as truck driver my yard in Edison. 

So I’m kinda confused if it’s a right deal to buy. I found a cape code renovated 2018 for 475k in Clifton taxes about 9-10k a year. We don’t have kids. We planing to rent out this property in 1-2 years when we will be ready to buy another one. 

Question should we find an area with lower taxes ? As we don’t have kids. 
should we buy townhouse and save about 75k?

Is this good area to rent out?

What would you do?
