Hello,

New to BP, great site with lots of info to digest. I work as an architect for a firm in NYC and would like to start my journey in real estate investing. I'm looking to purchase with an FHA 203k. I'm familiar with the requirements to buy with this loan. However, has anyone done a flip within the Queens or Brooklyn area on a multi family home (2 Family to be exact) with an FHA 203k, and a purchase price of 360k-450k? if so, I would really really appreciate any info on this. Taking the first step can always be tough and scary. Just looking for some direction and tips.

thanks a bunch!.

Hi Tony,

FHA 203K loan is recommended as a start to finance a mortgage as a first time home buyer. You can go as low as 3.5% on the down payment. They do have some qualifications that you must meet first. Best of luck
