Ahh, my research has been pretty much the same as yours. I was hoping to have just missed or overlooked something in lieu of obtaining an "allodial title" on day... Thanks for sharing your findings.

Not sure if this is off topic or not, but I assume it may be. I am just curious, if anyone here knows, do Allodial titles still exist? And if so, where? I last heard that they were only offered in the states of Texas and Nevada. Just a curious newbie here...

Wow, that sounds like a possible deal (I am a newbie, so I could be wrong).. From my limited experience, I just want to offer my two cents. If it were me, and if I were cool with them both (or even just one of them), I would definitely gather as much info as I could (how many months behind, what's the monthly note, how much is owed, etc..), and then I would see if they have any (major) repairs that are needed (plumbing, electrical, etc...), I would then also pull the comps to see if it is under water are whatever, then run the numbers/info I have here on BP, so others can weigh. Again, just sharing my two cents from my limited knowledge. Good luck man!

Hey @J. Martin thanks for the shout out and quick tips. I appreciate that. I usually try to check my messages by the end of the day after I get off the road, yet sometimes I forget to. So I'm working on responding quicker. Thanks again.

Hello everyone. I am a newbie out of DFW, TX. I am a truck driver so I am gone a lot. But I have pretty decent home time. I am willing to do what it takes to be able to eventually relieve myself from W2 status, which is my ultimate goal. Look forward to networking with many of you...
